Wanted to get the in game items, budden when i ask one of the staff, he told me must buy the 30k @cash then can get, dunno real or not. If not real, i sure kill him(as if i can).

After that, we went to Beach Rd in hope to get some nice new clothes for dear, but we returned to Marina Square with no luck at all. So i went to the place where i intend to go all the while, Kiddy Palace.
Bought these for baby. My aunty ask me buy a new set of clothes for baby when she discharge from hospital can wear, so i buy lor... And crazy mummy bought so many hair bands for baby vivienne.

Isn't it a cute rattle? Marie leh, but dear keep complain say very expensive. Haha, i dun care, both baby and me can play, isn't it worth the price?

We went to Aston Specialities at Katong there to have our dinner.

DAY 8 - BERN TO LUCERNEThe 1st stop of today, is Bern. The capital of Switzerland, host of Euro Cup 08. We went to visit the rose garden that is located on top of a hill to take a great view of Bern.

At the playground.

Oh ya, the slope up to the rose garden was kinda steep lor. And the distance is around 300-400m like that. I was panting like mad climbing it, felt like giving up.

Next, we proceeded on to the bear pit located directly outside of the town. Bern is named after a bear. The bear looks super cuddly and cute.

When the 2 bears meet.

We bought a bubble gum that looks like ciggy.

We went to watch the Bern show, a 3D show that introduces Bern, sort of similar to the one we have at The Images of Singapore.

When we came out of the show, i took more pictures of the bear bear.

And a short video.
Next we proceeded on to the town tour of Bern, a charming town with lots of arcaded shops and great atmosphere of the Euro Cup.

Tons of Holland supporters!

Big dog

Albert Einstein lived here once.

Some bian tai Holland supporters went to mess up with the bear figurines.
Before

After

Finishing the Bern tour, we moved on to the next place Lucerne.
The Lion Monument, carved from limestone cliff to commemorate the bravery of the Swiss Guards during the French Revolution.

Dead lion.

Tour group photo.

Later, we stopped by at the 14th century covered wooden chapel bridge.

Look at the duckie's feather poking out.

Ice cream my love!

Last hotel of the entire tour.

Bought these bracelets for Constance, Cindy and i earlier on at Bern.

Yesterday night we had a romantic 2 person steamboat at home. Eat until we super full.
DAY 6 - ZERMATT TO INTERLAKENThe beautiful scenery around our swiss cottage style hotel in the early morning.

The big heavy room key.

And all the beautiful flowers.

Lovely...

And it was free time at the small Zermatt town.

Everything there was super expensive, so i didn't buy any souvenirs yet. We went around to take photos instead.

Gloomy dog.

A little peek at the Matterhorn, too much clouds in the morning.

We took train back to the Tursh terminal and transfer back to our bus to proceed on to Interlaken.

Clean shoe VS dirty shoe

After a 2 hours bus journey, we stopped by at Marche to have our lunch. And it's my first time eating at Marche...
The strawberries there super big de lor.

There were cute duckies around.

The views outside Marche.

Quek quek, what a relaxing afternoon.

OMG, wtf, someone's taking picture of us. Quek quek, let's run.

Quek quek, faster run!

Quek quek, dun worry he's far behind.

While traveling, we passed by the biggest lake of Switzerland, the Geneva.

Reaching our hotel, Carlton Europe.

The big big room key again.

We walked all the way to the middle of town to have our Swiss Fondue dinner.
Look at all the low low clouds.

Outside their small casino.

Cheese fondue, not nice cos got white wine taste.

Meat fondue, soak meat into boiling oil water and dip into the different sauces that they provide.

Chocolate fondue, the nicest i ever eaten. Different from Singapore one, cos they got add in vanilla ice cream, less sweet and yummy!

Holland and Portugal fans on the street, making lots of noises.

Rainbow spotted on the way back to the hotel.

DAY 5 - MILAN TO ZERMATT(SWITZERLAND)
The 1st stop of today, is a visit to the castle of the 1st duke of Milan.

Dear with his dad.

The grass patch used to be filled with water in the past.

The prince and the princess... Haha

Next stop, Milan's gothic duomo, the 3rd largest church in the world.

Finally! It's shopping time along the streets and small shopping malls of the famous fashion capital Milan.

Burger King for lunchie. Singapore's bk fries already very suck, italy ones are worst.

Our loves and loots.

We now have couple wallets.

The only souvenirs i bought from Italy.

Snow globe for my daddy.

After spending the entire morning in Milan, we proceeded on with a long 5 hours bus journey to the next country, Switzerland. I was fascinated by the beautiful and majestic landforms of towering mountains, alps and fast flowing rivers along the way. The tour guide told us that 70% of Switzerland is covered with mountains. As we travelled along the mountainous roads, the slight changes in the altitudes caused our ears to have the stucky and pop-py feeling and the winding roads seemed so dangerous.

After travelling for a long 5 hours, we arrived at the Tusch Terminal to take a rack rail to Zermatt, the famous resort beneath the Matterhorn, one of the most distinctive mountains in the world.

Hubby acting cute.

Nestled in a beautiful pine-forested valley surrounded by craggy peaks, the Swiss town is car free and served only by carriages and battery taxis. We squeezed into the small battery taxis to get to our Hotel.

Hotel Hemizeus. Swiss Cottage style of accomodation.

From our balcony.

We stayed in the chalet type room for 4.

Our dinner at the hotel.
I never like salads.

Look at the pathetic portion of rice.

Dear wrapped in scramble egg.

Switzerland's temperature was much lower than Italy's, ranging between 10-20 degree celcius, so i would look like a big fat pig wrap in winter jacket. =)

DAY 2 - ROME TO SIENAIn the morning, we had breakfast at 7.00am in the hotel that we stayed last night. We had buffet style American breakfast, but i tell you, it was KNS... The scramble egg was so watery, like the cook vomit out de. So after eating, i decided to "cop" some hard boiled eggs, incase dear would be hungry later.

Interesting settlements over the hill top.

After a few hours of traveling, we finally reached Siena - One of the world's most well-preserved Medieval Italian Town. We realized that it was a super "slope-py" town. So tiring walking up and down...

The building had different head sculptures.

Dear looks like the wild boar right? Hahaha...

We had a stop at the stunning marble cathedral.

And to the Piazza Del Campo, scene of Palio Horse Race.

The place is so clear now when there is no horse race.

But when there is the horse race being held, it will be super crowded.

Our dinner at a ulu pandan restaurant.
Tasteless soup

Super disgusting and hard pork steak, without any sauce or flavouring. Almost died eating it. A lot of people complaint to the tour guide also.

We stayed overnight in the Tuscany Region at Art Museo Hotel.

After the 2nd day, we realized that people there prefer eating their food with the original taste, where our nightmares begin. Tasteless and hard meat, saltless fries, diluted soups, NO CHILLI SAUCE, super hard breads every meal and drinking tap water every meal.

Yesterday we finally came back from Europe after staying 10 days there, we went to Italy, Switzerland and Germany. There are tons and tons of photos waiting for me to upload and post them here - 700 over photos taken. We spent most of our time sight-seeing, my legs damn tired lor. The living standards there are much higher than Singapore's, so things there are super expensive, and the signs there are mostly of other languages, very hard for us to understand. The currency exchange rate are Euro2.14 to SGD1 and SwissFranc1.3 to SGD1. Mcdonalds there are super expensive, a set meal there costs nearly 10 euros or 12 swfs, but other foods there are even more expensive. Oh ya, and a can of coke costs 2euros... And Singapore is 6 hours ahead of their time. I will post the photos day by day. =)
DAY 1 - SINGAPORE TO ROMEMy cute hubby with our air tickets.

Our vacation begins with a long 12hours flight to the capital of Italy, Rome. My 5th time taking aeroplane.

Finally we arrived at Rome. The temperature there was around 19 degree Celsius.

We proceed to our first destination.

First stop, the famous Colosseum. One of the most magnificent monuments of ancient Rome. Built in 72AD, it once seat 50 000 spectators and was the chief circus of the Roman Empire where gladiatorial battles and other cruel glories were held. We didn't get to go inside cos of the long queue and time constrain.

Some ruins

Smile!

Street performer

I dunno what is this place called, but i know the nick name for it is wedding cake and typewriter, should be a king's monument?

After a long long walk, we proceed on to the smallest city in the world with 900 over population located in Rome - Vetican City. We visited the world's biggest church St Peter's Basilica, the administrative and spiritual capital of Roman Catholicism. A super holy and sculptures filled church. The grand interior designs and sculptures were eyeopening.

A sculpture of Jesus in the arms of Virgin Mary.

The dead bodies of the popes are mummified. There were quite a few of them, but i only take picture of one, cos i felt kinda eerie taking pictures of dead bodies.

The last sightseeing venue of the day, Fountain of Trevi. The fountain where you can make a wish by throwing a coin into it.

We had the famous Italian pizza as afternoon snack. Simply delicious, and the crusts are much thinner compare to the ones we have here.

At last, after an intensive day of walking and long flight, we get to rest at a hotel - Eurostar Congress. FIY, we change hotel almost everyday.

After a day in Italy, we realized that there is no boiled water for us drink, people there drink from the tap or the expensive mineral water which costs 1-2 euros. And the cars there are super dirty like a few months never wash.

Just back from expo. Going out soon again, to have dinner. Will be leaving Singapore in 7 hours time.

Nothing much at the exhibition leh, it's pretty small, only the size of half the expo hall. Cannot find popular brands like Avent, Combi and Pigeon at all, cos i wanted to get their products. So too bad, only those diapers and medela on promotion and some other ulu pandan brand lor.
I managed to loot some cheap cheap mittens and bootes at $1 per pair.

And palmers stretch marks lotion at $19. The lotion absorbs faster than the cream one, and i always sprinkle on some baby powder over the areas that i have applied to eliminate away the stickiness. So far, i've got a super cute tiny winy 1cm stretch mark on my backside. So funny de... But i've been complaining like mad already.
I WILL BE BACK IN 12 DAYS!
MUST MISS ME K?
I WILL MISS SINGAPORE BADLY!
